Literature circle trial

I have been interested for a long time in using literature or book discussion groups for readers in the classroom. I have collected lots of info, created a wiki and now have a group of teachers about to trial the material. Very exciting - especially as the people I have asked are such brilliant teachers and I know they will make it work!!! (no pressure on them of course!) I am hoping they will use this blog to feedback how they are going.
This work is part of a workshop I am developing on reading programmes for Year 6-8 students. Sort of like they can read  so what do we do now?

Wow!!!

I have just had the most amazing day learning how to set up a blog and a wiki! Jacqui Sharp rocks!
Now I just have to remember how to do it - watch this space!

a new start

I started this blog 2 years ago - I am now sitting in a workshop with Jacqui Sharp to learn how to use it! Promise to keep it updated!
